The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has assured that the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, will definitely not be arrested when he arrives for a visit in the U.S. This announcement was made after Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, made it clear that his city's legal department was investigating whether or not they had the right to arrest Netanyahu, who according to Mamdani, was a war criminal, because of an ICC warrant in 2024. While Trump did not mention Mamdani, he supported Israel since they helped him during the war against Iran.
